Blogging about Books: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Book Blog: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Hey People!! Chloe here! Ok, I know that there are practically millions of book blogs but I'm here to join the crowd. Like most people who write these, I love books. I'm not really a Harry Potter person   (sorry!) but I love romance novels. Sadly, they only make me realize how single I am, but I will take the torture because they are ADDICTING!! Ok, thats enough about me, lets get to the book.

Shatter Me is based in the future (the best!!). The main character's is a girl named Juliette, who has a "sickness" in which whoever she touches dies. (damn, I feel bad for her boyfriend...I'm sorry thats not funny. lol ) In this certain future, the United States is ruled by an organization called The Reestablishment. Everything is sick. From the birds, who don't fly anymore, to the people who are starving. An accident...an accident got Juliette locked up. There is talk of a rebellion. The reestablishment does not like that and start to see Juliette as a aid rather than an enemy. Now its Juliette's choice in whether she should become a soldier...or a fighter. (don't worry girls, this book has a hot guy(s) in it plus the love story! BAM!)

Ok, pros: Hot guys,(of course), cool storyline, interesting topic, PLOT TWIST! (and you won't be expecting it)

Cons: Written weird and kind of slow but its a great read.

Well, thats all I got for today...till next time? f

Snapchat worker falls for a phishing scam.

Snapchat worker falls for phishing scam

A snapchat employee opens an email from who he thought was the CEO Evan Spiegel asking for payroll and ex-payroll worker information. Little did he know that it was actually a hacker posing as the CEO. Since given the information, many current and ex employees are now at risk for identity fraud. Snapchat made a public apology in a blog post on Sunday.

Within hours, they said the problem was "isolated" and then reported it to the FBI. Thankfully the server was not breached and no user info was given out, but as stated earlier, many employees have had there identity compromised.

As a way to say sorry, Snapchat is providing the people who were affected by this two years of identity theft and insurance. They are also tightening the training programs. A phishing scam is simple. A person acting as if they are someone important, and if they pull it off, they got the keys to the kingdom.

On the start of 2014, Snapchat had its worst hack. Millions of user information and pictures were made public. Ever since then, Snapchat has kept a tight leash on their info and hopefully that stays that way.
